As we all know, the Security Gateway Module (SGW) was placed on most 2018 model-year and later FCA vehicles to prevent the OBD2 port via non-original devices from getting access to the vehicles. Xhorse FCA 12+8 universal adapter is a perfect solution to this problem. It can be used with scanners to diagnose faults for Chrysler Jeep Renegade Wrangler 300C vehicles after the 2018 model year.

As we all know, the Security Gateway Module (SGW) was placed on most 2018 model-year and later FCA vehicles to prevent the OBD2 port via non-original devices from getting access to the vehicles. Xhorse FCA 12+8 universal adapter is a perfect solution to this problem. It can be used with scanners to diagnose faults for Chrysler Jeep Renegade Wrangler 300C vehicles after the 2018 model year.
With Xhorse FCA 12+8 universal adapter, the aftermarket scan tool has all the capabilities on SGW equipped vehicles as if these vehicles were not equipped with SGW.

Step One: Locate and unplug the 12pin and 8PIN connectors of the SGW module.
Step Two: Connect the FCA 12+8 directly to the 12pin and 8pin connectors(two connectors that are connected to the SGW) on the car.
